15th march Newark, New Jersey – The insurance department of the Prudential Group which works under the patronage of the Prudential Financial Inc. has a new vice president appointed to reside on the post named Jim Pogue to take care of the Group Life Insurance or Products division or section.
Pogue will be managing the P & L for a section of the insurance group’s life products which would include Life AD & D; certain International Group Benefits; Group Universal Life policies as well as the Variable policy of the same type; Post Retirement Liability section, etc.
Jim Pogue will be also held responsible for Funding Solutions & other tasks coming under that genre. Pogue is a long time player in the insurance industry & had such a great career with distinction in group insurance department. Before getting into the Prudential Group he was working with the Guardian Life Insurance Company where he was assigned to the post of senior vice president. In that firm Pogue had to cover the lines & sections of business; marketing which also included the sales department; compliance, etc.
Jim Pogue earned his BS degree from the Lebanon Valley College where he studied in the Actuarial science department. Later he got the degree of MBA with good percentage of marks from the world famous Kellogg Graduate School of Management, North-western University. Early in his career he occupied a lot of senior positions in the management fraternity at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Company which lies in the mid-western state of Illinois or state or popular known as the prairie state. Later in his career he also was assigned to be the president & subsequently CEO of the United Health Group’s division of Ovations Insurance Solution.
